As a fellow Aussie Im curious! Do you tip your Pizza Delivery person!?

I'm not sure if I should or if I don't really have to! I give a gold coin sometimes! What do you do?
Additional Details
Yes American culture and Australian culture with tipping is totally different! We don't tip hardly ever - at restaurants or cafes or any other places. Rarely!! I know in America some use tips as a source of income but here they don't. It is totally different! If you gave a Pizza guy $5 he would do a back flip! LOL

I've never tipped a Pizza Delivery guy, I've never even thought about it, I might try it next time and see what happens just for fun lol :)

Im an aussie too, and I dont exactly tip, but if there's not too much difference between the cost and the money ive given them I will tell them to keep the change. I will point out though that our wages here in Australia are much higher as tipping is factored into wages in the USA.

Catherine
No, i never tip.. Because i usually have the correct money lol But if i dont have the correct money, if its like less than $5 then the delivery person can keep it..

I usually call and then pick it up..but if its too hot outside it will be delivered..

I never tip anymore than 5, 10 or 15 cents, which is the difference between the cost and the nearest dollar.

I do feel kind bad about it sometimes though!

I'm Australian, not that we have our pizzas deliveried often but, if we do, I'm pretty sure we don't tip the delivery person. Tipping, I don't think, is really a custom that is apart of Australian lifestyle like it is in America. So i guess tipping would be at your own discretion.

Aussie_Fitzy1285
well if you drive there you probaly won't but then u think about it depends on what type of person you are like if u are always nice well u probaly would but u probaly would tip the pizza guy if the came to u because there taking up there work time to deliver for u so i would i but i always pick it up and then u think about it are u in the local area like only maybe 5 minutes away would be about the max because when i get my pizza it only takes like 15 minutes and if u are that long away they could of more pizzas so i have an idea say u are 15 minutes away well put 5 in the time it would take u to go there and there is 3 5s in 15 so u give him about 3 minutes

hope it helps

paulo
Always tip, its a good way of showing appreciation and courtesy to the delivery guy and most importantly so that you eat a nice, unpolluted and poison free pizza. You will be surprise what people can do.

if the driver's tip is not already included in the charge of your order, in the United States it is customary to leave a couple of bucks. I leave around 5 USD usually, but the bigger the order, the bigger the tip. In the US, the pizza delivery person uses his/her own vehicle, therefore, you are supposed to reimburse them for their gas money.

You dont have to tip at all. I dont normally tip but if the pizza is say $8.95 i'll let them keep the change but at the same time if I have the right money I dont. There is no expectation for tips.
