At the end of January my school is having a ski retreat, I need to drop some lbs, any ideas?

I really want to be skinny so i can wear cute shirts and cute jeans, but im a little on the pudgy side, im not fat, im just not ideal.

Eat low fat and walk about 30 minutes to an hour 4-5 times a week.
Believe me... I dropped almost 70 lbs. However, I walked til I got up to 6 miles a day, 4 times a week. I ate 1000 calories a day and about 16 fat grams per day. You have to be disciplined. Its a change in lifestyle. Grilled chicken, shrimp and tuna are great in protein so be sure to have these in your diet.

Try portion control. I eat 1 Special K cereal bar for breakfast, 1/2 sandwich of 1 slice ham,1 slice cheese,lettuce,tomato and mayo for lunch,dinner I eat small piece of chicken 1 small potato and salad with no fat dressing. I walk 3-4 miles a day due to my job. (medical assistant) and I lost 30 lbs in 10 weeks and have kept it off for 2 years. Find foods that work for you. The first 3 weeks were a killer but I stuck with it. Was a size 16, now a 4 petite....food luck.

eat more seperated meals, eat several times a day with only a really light meal, you can excercise that off. burn 3.500 calories off and youll be good to go, try not to loose that much every week only 1 to 2 pounds although

Go for it, skinny up however you can, because no one wants to see flab squirting out over the top of cute jeans.

stop eating so much thats the only thing people who are "pudgy" have wrong with them
that and just excercise every day for an hour
like nonstop jogging
and most improtantly dont eat so much
if you get hungry throughout the day just wait an hour before you eat and see if your still hungry in an hour because by then your body will start eating the already existing "pudge"
thats what i do and it works perfect

thats cool... but I'm a guy so I probably don't know what ladies need to be skinny in a short time... I mean anything too outragous can be dangerous. I would just like go to the gym or something a couple times it feels good to get it out

It doesnt matter becauseif your going on a ski retreat, chances are its going to be too cold to wear cute shirts and jeans. When people go skiing they wear things like snow pants which is unflattering for everyone. Dont worry about it too much!

i've been the same way before, but this last year i decided to change that. but you have to be totally consistent. i run 6 days a week and after i stretch then do push ups and sit ups. the run circulates the blood and helps burn fat during the sit and push ups. an average of 7 to 8 minutes burns fat the best. also keep a consistent diet, like for lunch i have salads with some chicken that i cook myself on top. its good to keep your exercise and food intake in balance. but whatever you do dont try starving yourself and excercising it doesnt help at all and could potentially hurt you.
if you keep the consistency then by the end of january you'll be happy with the results =]

i know this sounds really stupid, but if you have a wii, invest in wii fit. it works really well. lol
or, my mom just walks on the tread mill, and she's very in shape. just walk. for bout 30 minutes, you dont have to run. or just walk your dog for thirty minutes. hope this helped!

Wear cute shirt and cute jeans anyways, it's good to have a little pudge on you it will keep you warm. Skinny girls aren't as hot as you think, as long as your body has a nice shape.

Walk for an hour or more everyday, having not eaten anything 2 hrs before so. Drink lots of water, it will thin the fat out so that its easier to lose. Eat plenty of fruit and greens especially dark greens. If you eat meat make sure its very lean and has the least amount of fat on it. Eat about 1200 calories a day or your body will shut down and start storing the fat and will make it harder for you to lose weight.Take a multivitamin and an extra Vitamin B. Vitamin B6 and B12 help raise your metabolism to burn fat faster. Get plenty of rest so that your body can recharge itself with energy that it cant get from food. Don't use those "LOSE WEIGHT SUPER FAST" pills or programs because they aren't healthy for you. If you follow these steps from today to the day of that trip, you will lose weight. You go Girl! yeaaaaa....

the best thing to do? diet and exercise. i tried many diets in the past, and the diet that worked the best for me is the raw diet - everything that you consume can not be cooked (i.e. apples, carrot sticks). joining a gym helps - plus, it is a great way to meet people who can help you work out.
