Which Aussie accent? I sometimes find it annoying the way Australians from the eastern states, and particularly Tasmania, overuse the short a.

Jemma K
I can't stand the way peaople from Melbourne speak!!!
They say 'MALbourne' and 'ALAphant' it drives me bananas!!!
Otherwise I love our accents :)

I love hearing the Aussie accent.

I absolutely cringe hearing the British accent, though. I used to work with a British woman who was rude as hell. She attributed her rudeness to the fact that she was from England.

So yeah, Aussie accents, yes.
Brits, NO.

Not annoying. I love it. It is way too sexy.

This is really a matter of personal opinion. I have no problem with it (but that might be because I live in Australia!) and it sounds normal to me. There are differing levels of an Aussie accent though and those that go over the top in their whiny slang do get a bit annoying.

jan
you cant please everybody, what is pleasing to me maybe annoying to someone. On Aussie's accent, its just fine with me, and to other countries who have other accents, its still fine, as long as its "English" language, what is important with me is i can understand them.. i maybe scratching my head if i dont understand a single word.

QLD RULES
No its the best Accent in the world and its the most UNIQUE.......
