1940
June 10 - Italy declares war on France and Great Britain.
June 11 - France declares war on Italy.
Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India and the Union of South Africa (to name the bigger countries in the Commonwealth) declare war with Italy.
As part of the British Commonwealth, the Commonwealth countries declared war when Britain did.
