been here all my life......

I love it - you will enjoy what the great southern land has to offer and more

beautiful one day perfect the next!

What do you mean it's not a good place to live? What are you basing that on because I can think of thousands of other places that would be worse!!

I came to Australia as a tourist several times before finally staying and applying for residency. I have actually seen more of Australia than my own country.

It's an amzingly beautiful country, from the cosmopolitan lifestyle in Sydney, to the rain forests and ocean views along the Great Ocean Road, to the crystal clear water beaches of Perth. Life is relaxed and less stressful here. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Well I liked it so much I couldn't stay away! Hope that helps!

Hi,yes
I love Australia.
I love a sunburned country,a land of sweeping plains,of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her blue horizons,I love her dual sea,her beauty and her terror this wide land for ME.

Liang Moi, I have spent alot of time in Asia and thought the same thing about you guys.

Maybe we need an anthropologist to post?

Doug
My home country, but I now live in nz. I love it here and wouldn't go back to aus, but still it is a nice country

To Waltzsingmatilda2: it's "jewel sea" not "dual sea". It would make more sense. After all, unlike in the US, things here actually make sense.

G'day,
Did we like it!!! We loved our experience.
I'm not from the land down-under, I'm from the land up-over.
My wife and I spent 22 days in Australia, Sydney, Melbourne, Carins and Port Douglas. We did two live aboard dive trips to the GBR. For the 22 days we spent in country we can't say enough about what a great time we had, and the Australian people are the best, can't say that about the USA over all.
We did a guided "Walkabout" in a national park near Melbourne we got up-close with Kangaroos and Koala's, we also enjoyed a lunch with Aussie Tea.
Australia has so much to see and offer. We are looking forward to a return trip. G'day

I don't live in Australia, but I love Australia very much.

I currently live in Southern California. Yeah, we have some great weather, Disneyland and all that. As for Australia? Well, I've been there twice within a year's time just because I wanted to go. And I'll be going again (hopefully) in the next couple of months. Sure, I went as a tourist, but that's ok. This is what I can tell you: The country is fantastic! The metropolitan areas are incredible. So much to see just in the cities, such as Sydney and Melbourne. And clean and safe! I was walking around Sydney at 3 am and felt completely safe. You can't find that here. Then you've got places like the Blue Mountains or the rainforests. Now, I'm a desert fan, so I loved going to the Red Center and seeing Uluru and the like. Also, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef is quite the experience. Should I mention the people? I have never met a such friendly people anywhere. Right when I step off the plane, I feel welcome, like I'm at home. Let's just say that when I finish school, I'm going to be trying to get residence there!

Cheers!

yes and yes

I was there for a few years. In Brisbane itself.I had traveled to all the cities in the country. To me ,the Aussies are reasonably friendly and helpful. But Australia is a bit backward to me.The shops and shopping areas are not appealling if compared with those in even SouthEastAsia, not to mention the rest of the Asia region. But Aussies are honest compared with South East Asians. Most Aussies that I know don't have beautiful skin. This is probably because most of them love the sun so much. They look so so beautiful and attractive, boys or girls, when they are in their teens, especially between 14 and 19 years old.But when they reach adulthood you just. see them age virtually in front of you .Too much sun ,fastfood and soft drinks probably.Anyway, things could be different now.It was few years back since I was there. It's still one of my favourite countries. So Aussies, umbrella and sunblock whenever you go out,ok?

Charmed
No I didn"t.But yeah I am going there after five months.
