Most people like Aussies.
A lot of ignorant yanks think we're all yobbos and crazy reptile hunters like crocodile dundee and Steve Irwin.

Based on general perceptions:
- We're one of the good looking nations (due to lots of the outdoor activities we do, thanks to our beautiful weather). Few of my non Australian friends said Australians are blonde and tanned hehe...

- Australians are proud of their nations and tend to be really supportive and excited about any sporting events where Australia play.

- Australians love their sport a lot and they're really good at it considering the number of population vs the number of sporting champions and championships they've won.

- Australians are down to earth, easy going and layback - think about the phrase 'No Worries Mate'

- Australians work hard (ask any UK employers) :-)

Of course in reality, you'll find some rude Australian, but this is more like personal values and upbringing rather than nations. I was an immigrant of Australia and I love Australians are proud to be one.
