We don't have a traditional dress we wear fashionable clothing. In the outback comfortable jeans caps boots would be more appropriate.

Ozmaniac
Honestly, the level of ignorance about Australia is staggering. Don't you realise that Australia is at least as developed and sophisticated as your own country? That we EXPORT fashion to other countries? That we dress just like anyone else does in jeans, t-shirts, suits, dresses, little cocktail frocks, ball gowns (and that's just the guys)? And in the outback, people wear exactly what you'd expect someone to wear for the climate and whatever work they're doing.

I guess the fact that you've asked in here shows that you don't want to remain ignorant, so good on you for that anyway.

Good one Ozmaniac!! Im glad someone said it!

I just returned home from living in London for 9 months...all the Brits want to move here but they think we are covered in snakes and spiders and kangaroos!! come on!! haha...although I did aid in leading a few of them on for my own comical value!!

We wear normal clothes just like you!

Australia
Clothes just like any country. Fashionalbe lables, anything and everything? Silly question really
Out back, protective boots i say so you don't get bitten by snakes or spiders.

helloyellowjellomarshmallowfello
Anything jeans & t-shirt... We are normal people here ya know. I don't know why everyone thinks we're some kind of different species.

Australians just wear regular clothing appropriate to the environment/climate they are in. They tend to be fairly casual over-all but more dressy/trendy in the big cities particularly for work or going out. Remember we have pretty strong sun so hats and light cotton long sleeves and pants are good if you are going to be out in the sun a long time.

Moleskin trousers. Blue shirt. Riding boots. Rabbit fur felt hat.
