Some people will think that Winter in Sydney is cold, and will need sweaters and jackets.
Some others will think it is NOT too cold, and long sleeve shirts will suffice.
No ONE person is correct with a "single" answer.
It does depend on you, and what you are used to.
When I first arrived in Sydney from the UK, I would stand at the railway station, in shorts etc, with the locals rugged up in jackets, looking at me in a funny way.
But I didn't feel cold, it didn't feel to much different from a cool summer day in the UK.
If it is Hot where you are now, then yes, you will feel cold over here.

In austrailia summer is LIKE winter but is still called summer. It's going to be a lot like a New England winter, they are the same distance from the equator. Pack extra just in case though, better than freezing. |
