Australians - anyone know when the Bank of Rudd will cough up our stimulus payment?

Helen don't listen to the people with the negative one sided comments.No one knows your situation better than you.I think lots of people deserve these payments no question about that.However,It is kind of sad that low income workers have missed out.The bonus will start being payed out on the 8th of December and everyone should revive payments by the 19th.

Payments will start going out tomorrow. Good luck to you and your child. And maybe the losers who open their big gobs to judge people they know nothing about should try opening their ears and listening first. Feeling bad now, are you, fools?

I think it's due this week (i.e. starting tomorrow, Monday 8.12.) My family could certainly do with it as well!

The Governmentâ€™s Economic Stimulus Package : Overview

Payments will be made automatically through Centrelink and the Department of Veterans Affairs from 8 December 2008.

Centrelink general manager Hank Jongen said the payments will be distributed from December 8 to 19.

It's good to see my taxes are going to a good home.

You're a nob! Howard never gave me any sort of bonus just for being an Australian. And Rudd just allocated a bucket load of money to local councils that they have to spent on projects within the next 12 months - that sounds like an idea that will allow a lot of towns to action ideas they haven't been able to, while creating a bit of employment at the same time. Try thinking outside your living room hey?

Greedy much, maybe you should get off your *** and get a job. If you bothered to watch the news they have said they will start receiving the money tomorrow.

It seems the only way us hardworking tax paying citizens get anything is to keep popping out children. Imagine that, a Government that rewards you for opening your legs.
