My internet keeps cutting off..and often it is indeed slower. Anyway..are you serious? The internet filter has been up for a week!?! And no huge media spectacle? This is bizaree..how can they get away with this nonsense?

Run your virus checker, or Windows Defender to see if anything is on your computer. If you have just put on a new virus programme, that can slow down the connection as it checks each site you visit. When you change sites, check if there is a small box at the bottom of the screen in the toolbar which is checking for phishing sites.

Mine is fine. But the uploads on Youtube are a little slower than usual. Not complaining or anything.

Mine was totally fried this morning. Rebooted the computer several times... and the router. Dang near threw the 'puter out the window. Nothing existed. Shouted expletives at the Gods of Optus. Then (about half an hour later) a miracle occurred - and I'm back in the land of the living.

mine's fine. and even in free hotspots in Manly. it's even faster.. check your PC for viruses, malware before it crashes on you ..

I do not know. I've not noticed a change beyond the slight variations one expects from day to day. But that does not mean that there has not been one. I don't suppose I have been paying all that much attention. I will keep an eye on it, so to speak.

The computer that I am currently using, is not a late model and is not as powerful as some might like (myself included), so yes, for older less powerful computers, it has. Some of the links have almost timed-out before getting there.

I was going to blame the working/modifications on this site, when I tried to access Yahoo and came up with an, "THIS IS AN ILLEGAL SITE" message - government departments always get things so right.

Dear To Whom It May Concern - If you are so insistent that you need to stay one step behind and do this, then please try censoring the REAL sites, albeit too late and when the bird has flown!

Not just in the past week.

We finally upgraded to the 1500 broadband up from 256 and the first week it was excellent no problems.. Now it seems my computer is a moody b*tch and does whatever it likes.
