It actually sounds more American. Australian's tend to say phone number rather than just number.

Bowdy aka. MJ
your phone number

I take it to mean mobile number as well as land line number

I imagine it's more common to say "can I have your number" but yeah, he wants your phone #.

nemeczek
I means that a kangaroo just ate a koala. Common in Australia.

The Mouse II
what does he mean?
Come on.... what do you think? It is rather obvious.

Is this a common phrase in Australia?
Umm, last time I looked - we DO speak english here.

Sorry if my answers upset you, but conversely, your question does imply that us Australians somehow speak a different language.

Cheers
