Australians, would you rather go to a cold, snowy place (ie. Canada, New York) or the Bahamas for vacation?

I live in Queensland where it's sunny and warm all year around and sometimes I yearn for a week or two (no longer) in a really cold place.

None of the sub tropical and tropical places elsewhere in the world that I've been to are a patch on what we have here, and I've been to several (Florida, Hawaii, Fiji, Tahiti, New Caledonia, West Indies), so Canada would get my vote. I've spent a lot of time in New England and, at least when I was there in winter, it wasn't snowy enough to make up for the cold.

Bahamas, defiantly Bahamas.

Although there would be no point in moving i already live in the sunniest city in the world!

A snowy place for sure. If we want to go on a beach resort type holiday we are much better off staying here - other such places just aren't as good as what we already have.

Bahamas baby, i live on the Gold Coast so it's pretty awesome weather all year round here but i like holidaying somewhere tropical not icy.

ellasyn
Well I come from a warm climate (QLD).
So I'd love to have a "white Christmas" in New York. Snowwwwwwww.

JOx
I like the heat I would always choose somewhere warm. I also have no warm clothes for Canada

BJSMASH
CANADA i've always wanted to go there

i LOVE going to the snow and the last 3 of my holidays have been spent in Canada! we have plenty of beach here all year round...it's good to experience fun in the snow! loL! and i love skiing so.. :D
going to Aspen in january!

The Silver Foo Dog
Canada (**** New York) as I have only seen the snow once in my life and would like to see it again. As for the Bahamas I live a short drive away from some of the most perfect beaches in the world. Why would I want to go vacation to see a beach.

I would want to go to a cold snowy place! How cool would that be...I've only seen snow once. It's practically summer here all year round where i live.

zafir
I live in Canberra, Australia, which is a cold place in winter and not far from the Australian snowfields. Yes, we do get snow in Australia. So I would definitely choose the Bahamas for holidays.

oh snow for sure never seen it before but i dont think i could stand it for very long (im a queenslander btw) maybe like a few days in the snow then off to the bahamas to defrost a lil

Bandit
