no fruit picking in Brisbane sorry.
Places to try are Far North Queensland near Cairns/Tully/Innisfail and parts of regional Victoria, New South Wales and West Australia. There are many different harvests to pick from - eg grapes, apples, oranges cherries etc etc etc.
The season runs in its peak in summer (Dec-Feb) but there is work all year round in Australia if you are flexible with the harvest and where you go.
You can try the following web site for work:

Nothing like that in Brisbane.
Victoria has large fruit industry, but the season is now over, apart from grapes, and a lot of that is by mechanical means. |

I agree with those above there isn't any fruit picking in Brisbane - but there are places within a couple of hours drive from there - particularly grapes and apples at Stanthorpe and tomatoes and mangoes in Childers/Bundaberg.
Right up in the north of Queensland there is banana and mango picking - in Tully/Innisfail areas. |

You can do personal fruit picking in Brisbane, not paid employment though. Fruit trees dot the city, such as mangoes, mulberries, passionfruit. Depending on the season you could have your fill for free.
I assume though you mean paid work. I have not heard of this work in the city. I know some fruit (strawberries??) is grown in Redlands, perhaps they hire pickers. Otherwise, in the surrounding countryside you may find macadamias or pineapple plantations that require seasonal workers. |

Not much in Brisbane. Check out this website for what is happening. Boonah and the "Salad Bowl" region about an hour outside of Brisbane have opportunities
