Salisbury is about 20km north of the city, so it takes roughly 30 minutes to get there, depending on traffic...
Elizabeth is about 26km north of the city also and takes about 45 minutes to get there.
Ethleton is about 13km north west of the city, near Pt Adelaide and the beach and it takes about 25mins to get to town...
If you were thinking about moving into these areas, Salisbury really is not as bad as you think. I have lived here for 18 years and have not been broken into once, and i do not know anyone who has been broken into.. Everything is close by, transport, shops, recreation centres etc and i think it is a safe area...
Like every place, there are feral people and crimes, but really, its not THAT bad. |

The mileage answers are approx. correct. I know you did not ask whether or not the areas were safe to raise children, but, I should like to assure you they are as safe as anywhere else. |

The other distances you've been given are quite accurate, these suburbs are in the outer metropolitan area a fair distance from the CBD. If you're asking because you're considering moving here I have to tell you those suburbs are areas of low socio-economic development and fairly high crime rates compared to the rest of Adelaide; there are also few good schools in those areas, but on the bright side that all makes housing around there quite affordable. |

They are not the Suburbs for employment or raising children. All three would be in Adelaides highest crime rates. |
