ETA visa is just a 3 month visa isn't it?
To move to Australia it's a points system, you have to get over 120 points to emigrate.

Anyone can APPLY, but only the government can grant permission!
If you are of good character and meet all the other requirements to come to Australia as an intended resident, you will be made welcome.
However, please also remember that you will be 'on probation' for a period of time, and if you behave in such a way as to cause trouble here, you will not be permitted to become a 'premanent resident' and may be sent home.
If you are a decent, well behaved and tolerant person who intends to obey Australia's laws and who enjoys a laid back lifestyle in a beautiful place with an interesting and diverse population, I can only say ~ "G'day".

NO its very difficult to move to Australia
you need to be a skilled worker in a field of work that Australia needs
or be sponsored by a company wanting you to work for them
or be sponsored by a close relative that is an Australian resident
you can come on a tourist visa but you must leave Australia when it runs out in 90 days.......but if you want to live here you must go through the immigration process
an ETA visa is on for visiting Australia |
