Yes of course you can bring your bike into Australia.
Just make sure it is clean from dirt/soil etc, otherwise they will charge you to get it cleaned before being cleared through customs.

It IS true, they are extremely picky about potential pests. Make sure that the bike is absolutely spotless, specially the wheels/tires. Hose them yourself, brush them and make sure they are spotless as new.

You can bring it in.If it has soil on it it will get cleaned up at the airport.

It should not be a problem at all if you hose it down and dry it before you get on your flight.

Just in incase, arrive at the airport a few hours earlier so they can inspect it and hose it down themselves if needed.

Also, you may need to cover it with cardboard/a tarp/plastic bags, etc.

Hi this is no problem. Customs will insist that it is cleaned. If you have heavy tread on the tyres scrub them carefully with antiseptic solution (not bleach, obviously).

When you get to customs go to the "something to declare" line and tell them what steps you took to disinfect the tyres. At worst, they will do it again themselves and you may have to come back to the airport to pick it up a bit later if they cannot manage this on the spot.

Yes you can bring it . Many people travel with their bikes . You will still have the limit of kilos you can travel with . They also have strict rules about the packageing that it is well wrapped so place cardboard and bubble wrap around it and give yourselfa little extra time at the airport for checking it in as it needs to be checked in to another desk. Best to phone the airlines for absolute correct information. If the customs agriculture man suspects that it carries any pests they will spray it.
