THANK YOU! I really can't wait to see what she has to say tonight. |

This is the Australian section. We just look at the whole sad performance, from both sides, with bemused horror.
US politics is a car crash - too horrible but impossible to ignore. |

One vital issue that need to be addressed is the lack of geographic knowledge, Australia doesn't give a rats about her and think Americans who post this type of question in the AUSTRALIAN section as foolish |

What's up with asking these questions on the Australia board? We're just not interested. |

Is Palin planning to travel to Australia? Is anyone in Palin's family planning to travel to Australia? Are Australians attacking Palin?
No?
Then why have you put this question in the Travel - Australia section?
Try going and asking someone who cares. |

Who's attacking Michael Palin's family and why .. I mean it's outrageous... I mean what has Michael palin ever done to anybody ...
oh wait .. yeah that's right .. he was in Monty Python's Flying Circus...
BUT what else has he ever done to anybody ?
I think he was in the life of Brian and that shouldn't mean people should attack him

What issues? She has no experience with any of the issues. Her hypocrisy, inexperience and sketchy behavior is all we have. |

Believe me, with this political scene the LAST thing Republicans want to do is talk about the issues. |

I agree, but it's not just Palin. Ever since Clinton, it seems like people have cared more about personal and family issues than they do about a candidates ability to effectively do the job. it shouldn't just apply to Palin, though. All political figures should be judged first and foremost for their performance as government leaders. |

Asking for both parties to talk about issues is fruitless. I can't recall a recent election that was based on issues and not media hype and fear. |

Seriously, i don't care who says what about her family or Obama's. I care about being able to support mine. What are any of these people going to do about that? Isn't that the whole point of electing people. All this other crap in the media is just that, crap! Stick to the issues, everyone! |

I personally really don't care, because I wasn't going to vote for McCain, anyway.
I think the reason people are raising a stink is because Republicans are typically holier-than-thou people who are staunchly anti-sex before marriage, so the fact that a potential Republican VP's daughter is pregnant out of wedlock is kind of ironic, if not somewhat hypocritical. |

I noticed you failed to mention the attacks on President Obama. |

I haven't slammed her once but I have been doing research on what she stands for and the issues. I don't believe, unless she has changed,
I couldn't stand behind her. Being a woman has nothing to do with it.It is her beliefs. |

I agree with you! We should be concentrating on the issues at hand and stop pointing fingers and being hypocrites. We all know of unwed/teenage mother's. Health care, unemployment, foreclosures and the need to take care of our own should matter now, not what the future Vice-President should/should not do about a very private matter! |

The less a person knows about the issues, the more they attack their opponent.
If one doesn't know what the issues are or how to deal with them, they just try to turn our attention away from themselves and turn it on the other party.
Also, Obama-Ding-Dong has many skeletons in his closet, so he wants the other people to look worse than he does, if that is actually possible. |

If McCain had chosen a man..none of this would be an issue. The U.S. is full of misogynists who hate the thought of any woman having power. They always go for the personal attacks. |

Amen, brother. The desperate libs will stop at nothing to smear someone, even after their precious Obama asked them not to. |
