Yup us New Zealanders are generally pretty laid back and friendly, just like Aussies! (Unless of course we are versing each other in sport!)

Both countries will generally go out of their way for tourists - we tend to find them rather fascinating!

Matt S
Well they sure are friendly towards sheep that is for sure :)

But generally Kiwis are awesome people, well the few that I know anyway!

Phil
New Zealanders are generally extremely friendly - really down-to-earth people that will go out of their way to help you. I remember meeting one woman in a random place and asking her for directions... she actually took me back to her house and gave me a map, which she insisted I kept! Just one example of how friendly New Zealanders are.

From what I understand they are very friendly, easy going and fun to be around.

Micha
Definately! I went to New Zealand a couple years back and it's mainly a younger hip crowd, but everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. It also helps that they speak English there. If your thinking about visiting NZ, you really need to go. It is a beautiful place.

ozzy chik...
Sure mate!!...Same as you can call us Ozzy's...."a friendly bunch"!!....lol

U cant really generalise about the whole population because there are nice people and unnice people. But NZers are usually friendly towards tourists

Nemesis
Unless we are playing rugby union or cricket they are a very friendly lot.Almost as friendly as Aussies.

hayley m
They are very friendly people. I went to New Zealand last year and those I met were very welcoming.
