Yes, but if they are the same sex, you can't marry them.

scruff
Pit bulls are a banned bread in NSW.

•ghostflowers•
I think they need to be desexed... also pitties aren't very popular here in Australia, we've had a lot of attacks over the past few years....

Yep but it needs to be registered. (I think some states may not allow them, but you'd need to check.)

Yes you can, but depending on local council laws regarding the Restricted Dog Breed Registry. These dogs (which obviously include the American Pitt Bull) and dog owners are required to adhere to local council regulations. Each state and territory law is different.

This is an example from Campbelltown NSW about the regulations for pitt bull owners.

Your best bet is to get in touch with your local council/shire office.

I hope not.

Sure you can!
But the minute that rotten little mut, bites someone...expect a Police Officer or R.S.P.C.A. to come a knocking!
..Next day!
You will have no dog!....o.k.
and?...whats more it may not be a problem to anyone else,it intended to bite!..because it will be dead!
That's what happens now, to Pit Bull's......in Australia.
Zero tolerance, when kids start to lose half the hand, or face!
