yes you would need a adaptor because new zeal and and Australia has different plug sockets to he UK and only have too pins on the plugs as well so you defiantly need a adaptor.i am living in australia at the moment. |

Who/where is us? If you are in the UK then yes the plugs are different, but voltage about the same. If you are in the USA, then the caps key is down the left side of your keyboard. In that case the plugs and the voltage are different. |

Australia and New Zealand have the same plugs as each other a vertical pin at the bottom and two slanted ones at the top. I don't know where you are from so am unsure of the adaptor question. |

Yes you will need an adaptor, only cost a few pounds in supermarkets. Just make sure its suitable for Oz and Nz- it usually tells you on the top of the plug adaptor. |

most australian cars as well as american cars use the same spark plugs, that is 14 mm.
NZ dont build cars only import them. |

You will need an adaptor but they're readily available for $10 or so. Most US appliances will work on both 240v (AUS/NZ) and 110v (US) - it's always printed somewhere on the appliance itself. Also, most hotels have special outlets in their bathrooms that you can plug hairdryers, shavers etc directly into without an adaptor. All of the above applies to appliances from the UK except that their voltage is already the same as AUS/NZ. |

I travelled with my New zealand plug and just bought an internatinal adaptor...or at least one that worked for the US, UK and europe ( just look at the packaging).......I did at first have to buy one for the UK and then bought a UK to european one....so my little hairdrier had 2 adaptors on at once for a while!!! It seemed to work out fine! |

Every country that I have been to, that has a connection to the UK via their builders etc, use UK electrical rules. Get's complicated in Saudi, if Brits build something, it's equipped with UK plugs& sockets. The building next door might be by Europeans or Yanks-different fittings.
The odds are down south, it will be UK fittings. After all, they are the safest. |
