Well i think like anything else, its a matter of opinion, some girls like men with beards, some do not.. some girls like chubby guys, whereas some girls like muscles on a man. I like an American accent, but i must agree that it is everywhere here in Aus anyway, TV shows, commercials and radio, so ummm yeh its not like its odd, so its not really a head turner..

I am Australian, and yes, I find the North American and Canadian accents very sexy.
Yes, it is true, we do have alot of programs on T.V that contain mostly American accents, but I find the accent in real life is different somehow then what it is on T.V.

It depends what they are saying, i've met so many Americans and Canadians who are too arrogant n patriotic (which is fine but why come to Australia if you just wanna talk about how great America is?) and it annoys me but then theres the odd one here and there who is just lovely and in those rare cases the accent makes them all the more adorable, particularly those from southern American States and Canada. NOTE: if you wanna impress an Aussie with your accent or at all just don't be a d**k

Haha i'm american and I used to have a bf who was Australian...i thought his accent was hot but he didn't feel the same way about mine :P...so no, i think we lose on that one :P

Some accents from the USA really annoy me but some aren't too bad.
I don't mind Canadian accents, though.

The only time an American accent is a head turner is when some loud-mouth is making a fool of him/herself. For example, "Back in the States blah, blah, blah".

I think it does turn heads but it's mainly because of how it sounds. Personally, American accents arent sexy at all. I found them more annoying than anything.

No. There is too much on TV, including the ads, and many of us feel Australia is being swallowed up by American culture.

Oh I wish I love Australian accents I would live there just to marry an aussie guy....
there are a ton of north american accents (southern, midwestern, new york, new england...etc) and most of them sound stupid to me.......its just slautering correct english diction..
