Those who do get bored have never been out of their own area. Bored in Auzzie land?????? Never, I am born and bred "true blue Auzzie" in Victoria and I have seen most of my home State. Beautifull. I have never been off the Mainland, sorry my fellow Taswegians, visit to Tazzie is on my 'to do' list.
I have travelled up North in Queensland as far as MacKay and lived just South of Brisbane when it was still 'country' with 3 kids no money and loved it, perfect weather, friendly people.
I have crossed the Nullabor Desert to Western Australia and back to New South Wales, passing through South Australia, scenery, history, amazing.
Travelled down the Southern area of Aust and stood at the Great Australia Bight, breathtaking, unbelievable and that was when I understood our Indigenous people and their being one with the land. This is my country and I love it and there is so much to see and do here you would need 5 lifetimes and even then you may only just get through half of what is available. In my local area I have not seen or done everything that is available to enjoy.
Our history is rich and controversial in many ways and yet we manage to get along with each other most of the time. threaten our way of life? We all close ranks irregardless of our backgrounds, we call Australia home, is more than a song to us, it is us.
Things to do in Auz? Well in Winter you can take your holidays and go to our Snowy Mountains for a few days skiing, jump in the car and drive up to Queensland (QLD)sight seeing through New South Wales (NSW) eg Blue Mountains, The Three Sisters, Dubbo, Dubbo Zoo and Wildlife Park, the old Gaol.
When you reach top of NSW the weather is warm and so you put on light weight clothes and into Qld it warms up the further you go. Lovely. And of course you have to call in either on the way up or down to Steve Irwin's Wildlife Centre, Crikey, we still miss him.
This is just a tiny example of the East side, now the West side is a whole new experience. West Auz or WA as we know it has taken on the best of the East side Cities and has one of the most beautifully laid out Cities in the World. The City Planners always know what Perth will look like in a 100 years. The view from Kings Park, breathtaking, the flower clock there, exquisite. Up North in Broome you can relax in the most beautifull of weather, water and buy some of the most beautifull and precious Pearls in the world. And the Pearl Diving history?
If there are any Auzzies out there 'BORED' with this Great Big Ever Changing Land, then they have not been anywhere here other than their own backyard. And need to get out there and have a look around for themselves and not just watch documentaries on TV.

So come on over and check Auzzie out for yourself, eh?

Why would we get bored? There is plenty to do if you want to do anything no matter where you are. In any case, the footy season started this weekend and with the World Cup in progress there is plenty to keep you amused even if you want to stay home and watch TV.

We never get bored. We have to dodge drop bears, run away from rampaging red back spiders, try not to admit we found Steve Irwin rather peculiar and try to escape the most dangerous creature of all, the lamington.

Yes. I think everyone all over the world feels boredom at some point in their lives. But I would think Australian life is a little bit more exciting than an average continent's excitement level. I mean, it is a country that was first an exhile for prisoners, and then there was Steve Irwin, and they have the aboringinal culture, which include the digeridoo one of the coolest instruments ever, and the surf there is great, just a lot of sharks, so the surfers have to stay on their toes too. Kangeroos, boomerangs, the small dogs that run all around, i forget what they are called, and they have tons of eucalyptus trees which smell good. It is just a world of excitement.

Never we love our sport to much whether it is participating or watching we always find ways to be occupied by going to the beach or surfing we don't have to spend much time inside because our weather is great. No shoveling snow for us.

A person will NEVER get bored in Aussie - too much to see and do. Would you ever get bored in the USA? NOT.

Great country and great people here - come on over !

I got bored when I lived in the city.

Now I live in a coastal town I'm never bored!!

I can go wave skiing, snorkeling, swimming, skurfing, beach walks, boat rides, bike rides, etc. and that's before/after work!! The weekends are even better!!

No matter where you are you can be bored and boring if you choose to be that way.

Being bored is a state of mind.

Why would we be bored when we live in such a beautiful and exciting country? You could live 3 lifetimes and never get around to seeing and doing it all.
