High protein, low fat and delicious. Cook it fast, eat it rare and let it rest for a few minutes after cooking. We also eat emu - possibly the only country that eats its coat of arms.
In spite of some propaganda the large roos are not endangered. In fact there are probably more of them than they were when Europeans first arrived. Sheep and cattle country is also ideal for roos. |

I am Australian and i haven't ever and never would eat kangaroo's.....Ewwwww, I had to ask my dad if people do eat it, because i haven't ever heard of anyone eating it....He says that it isn't very popular and not many people do....Hope that helps. |

Of course we do - its a delicious low fat meat - you need to make sure that you don't cook it too much though, otherwise it gets too tough. |

Yes we do, it's on sale at any supermarket.
It's not like it's the national dish or anything - beef, pork, lamb, chicken are the main meats sold and consumed.
I'm not a big fan of it myself, though. |
