well compared to other countries yes, but i am Australian, i don't reckon its a accent just talking normally, even though i can do a really good American accent, wen i started high school i used the American accent, and everyone thought i was from Ohio,( i told them that) than for the whole year i finally talked normal, they were full laughing |

every country has its own accent, only people within that country generally dont notice it.
New Zealanders pronounce thier letter i as an e |

everyone has a accent it is just that when you are used to the accent you don't notice that you have it or that other people have the same accent so yes we do most people just don't realise it |

Yes Australians have accents, just like every country does. Though aussie accents do tend to be exaggerated on American tv. (We dont all say g'day mate or crickey!) |

we actually have more than ONE accent .. though many of us probably aren't aware of it....
get your south australian~ say from Adelaide... Get a Sydney sider... A melburnian , A western Australian ~ say from Perth.. and a Queenslander...
there is a slight difference in all of them .... THEN throw in you rural speak ..(ie teeth clenched to keep out the flies, lips still move) |

Yep.. im aussie.. but i really hate it when over in other countrys were getting percieved as all g'day and crikey.. and my most hated throw another shrimp on the barby.. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!.. and mostly in other countrys it fairly exagerated.. i love our accent..i like south affrican accents more though.. but thats not the question..also were kinda lazy when we speak so i spose that makes a difference as well |

I'm an australian and I don't usually notice the accent but then I'll say 'picture' like 'pik-tcha' and realise we do talk very weirdly. |

Australians pronounce their i's as an e... NZ'ers pronounce their i's as a u (six = sux, drink = drunk) they also pronounce their words alot more harsher...
But yeah all countries have accents... |
