 Im going on a 24 hour plane trip to australia any suggestions on what might keep me occupied for that long?
im only 17 if that helps so far im bringing my i-pod my summer reading book my nintendo DS and a few games and a couple word searchs any other suggestions......

it depends on the individual no matter where they are from. But every american i've come across is pretty arrogant ..lol sorry but it's true, the ones ive met seem to think they are better than anyone and know everything, just cause their country is bigger than ours.size only matters in bed..lmao

As far as liking American's...Aussies are the only ones that can tolerate american policy...everyone else thinks your government sucks.

well some do and some don't. americans (not all) have very bad manners and are very disrespectful and esepcially towards women. we think that some americans are selfish and think their 'all that'. but i'm not saying all americans. australia is just the same, our society is going downhill.

My (Australian) son 'downloaded' (haha) an American girl on the internet......they then met face-to-face, fell instantly in love and they are getting married next month....so, no....we don't...
There are some good, some bad in every culture/country.

Generally, americans are ignorant about other countries and don't see the need to know that there is a life outside of the US.
But I don't think australians dislike americans, only perhaps the concept that the biggest and the best comes from the US or so we are told.
