Yes, i feel sorry for how they were treated in the early days, and the stolen generation, that would be a horrible thing to happen to anyone.

I feel sorry that a lot of their history has been distorted and have lost a lot of their culture but I know many that don't want to be felt sorry for they just want to be treated like everyone else if we keep up this them and us mentality that will never happen.

Yes. I feel a degree of sympathy for certain situations which arise.
And no. It is not my problem...I can't change history.

No. The Commonwealth Government gives them priority help in all areas of housing and benefits. Each of them can achieve on their own merits if they have the will to do so.

YES!!!!!
Seriously White mainstream Australia is completely in denial about them and use any excuse to avoid acknowledging them. I know they can be hard work but Australia just makes no effort towards them, or they set them up hearted and say "I told you so" when it all turns to custard. Most of them just pretend they don't exist or that they've been given a chance and have failed.
I also cant help but get ironically amused whenever Aussies knock the Saffa's as racist and bring up Apartheid.
And that ****** Howard wouldn't apologise for it either. The same smug w-nker who would get righteous to justify joining the Iraq coalition. I want him to perish.
I think the longer they put off facing up to this the worse it's going to be when the chickens come home to roost.

No not at all, they are given opportunities that others do not get, and if they wanted to take advantage of these grants and benefits than they would be well off the Australian government spends over one billion dollars a year on aboriginal health and education and housing and their legal system. If only they would stop thinking of themselves as victims than they would be able to advance themselves as many have done by gaining a university education and gone on to be able achieve great things. The one billion dollars does not include the mining rights that are paid to them God only knows what they are worth each year, but again it is money for nothing.
