Coogee (beach) is the place. It has such a great atmosphere compared to Bondi, a lot friendlier. If you stay there and work, even 12 hour shifts in the beach bars or cafes, it's enjoyable. Coogee made me want to stay in Australia for ever.

Newtown! Has some of the best eateries and vintage stores. Overall, a great vibe.

Dawes point just behind the rocks, your right in the city but its so open and uncrowded, no-one goes there only if u live there.
