Sir Shrek
I'm our family wombat.
Eats roots & leaves.

heh heh
someone had to say it...

shebs
Hehehe, there are so many things that Americans don't know about us! It is good because we can mess with them.

Oh, and my experience with wombats is mostly when I hit one at 60km/h in my mother's Daihatsu Charade: Wombat survived and the car ended up with a twisted chassis and was written off. tough buggers!

hahaha, thats really funny.

i think everyone will eventually see, that australians are way cooler than anyone else because:
1. we dont have a funny accent
2. we dont have phycos like lindsay lohan
3. and we look normal.

SO THERE!
:D

Mel
Yeh I have a pet wombat, I have a kangaroo too and crocodiles in my swimming pool.

We arent that detached, they are just plain ignorant. So why not play along with them.

jms043
NoRach, it`s the one who asked the question who is detached from reality. There are people who are so uninformed about the rest of the world that I fear for our position in the world. Some of them can`t even locate their own state on the map. Sad.

tuppenybitz
no Australians are not detached from the world

many americans are uneducated about countries outside their own, wonder if they have pet grizzly bears or rattle snakes lol

w!ll
lol that probably z funniset thin i have heard all day!!! pet wombats but i had an pom science teacher and he thought he could drive from sydney to adlaid and bak in one day and evry one in my class laughed our heads off!!!! and i do believe we r pretty detached to z world!!! i gess we r just not as popular as z us and europ!!!

they call me Bindi
he he i was going to say YES my wife oops i just did
rach most Americans still think we get on a kangaroos to commute to school and work

faranglaw

mmdjaajl

PSS
MEL"s answer reminded me about the crock in the pool but i dont consrider it a pet only keep it to eat the yank's that stumble into my dack yard

Australians dont have pet wombats

They are australian animals and belong in the bush

we are just like others pet cats dogs fish

i think people living in the bush will come across a wombat and it will make residence on their land

but its illegal to have a pet wombat in Australia

hope i helped
