Hey! I think you are an Aussie who just want to see if anybody out there really know anything about Australia, considering the amount of stupid questions people ask about it - questions like: What is the capital of Australia? and the number of times people actually answered "Sydney"
Even some of the above answers showed that so many people "think" they know about Australia - but really, they haven't got a clue. These people really should leave answering questions about Australia to us Aussies. |

also, beautilicious88, the capital city is Canberra, not Sydney, and Sydney is not spelt like 'Sidney'. Also, what are you basing your statement "Its people are very discriminative" on? In regards to tennis, we have the Australian Open, not Wimbledon. The Williams sisters are American. And I'm not going to list all the typos and spelling mistakes.
I agree with The_Mouse, people should leave questions like these for people who actually know what they're talking about.

What would u like to know? It is currently summer in Australia so it is hot hot hot!! Places that are a must see include: The Great Barrier Reef located in Queensland you could also go to Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's Zoo), Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and what about going to Central Australia to see Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon these are absolutely spectacular. Australia is a Multicultural country and therfore has a little bit of every culture. Just so people do not get home sick. Not to mention the different variety of food available!! |

what exactly do u want to know. i live in sydney, australia. It is a great country. i have travelled a little bit and would not like to live anywhere else. we have a relaxed view to life and love to have fun, relax, and have a BBQ. |

Yes, I know some I live in Sydney. Your question is a closed question so to answer correctly I should have stopped at 'yes'. But I will tell you that about 7 out of 10 of the worlds most poisonous snakes live in Australia. |

compared to here earning dollars is very expensive,people in pubs and clubs are normally friendly if you female,mainly have a chip on their shoulder that they are better than the poms e.g english. this shows how stupid they are as prisoner of her/his majesty or p.o.m as this is what they are being a true blue aussie is a thief,cheat or murderer.
snakes and spiders are great go in the ocean which is lovely and blue and get stung by a jelly fish or pulled out to sea by a rip or might just loose a arm or leg with a shark great.

the petrol goes up and down weekly the day days as the family allowance and is always 5-15 cents dearer at weekends and public holidays. wages are terrible,you pay to be sick and for schooling eg books etc.they do not play football they play soccer or try to and when ever they loose anything it is always sickness or the other team cheated.
to sum it up it is so great most of the aussies travel the world

Most of its land is desert area especiallt in the middle of the continent.
Its natives are called aborigins, dark bown skin but with fair, curly black hair.

1st class tennis games are played there at Wimbledon.
