You can do it over 2 long days if you have to. But it is much cheaper to fly - and much more comfortable. (The fuel alone would cost you a fortune let alone the other expenses of taking a car that distance)

im not sure, but from brisbane to sydney, it takes approx 14-15 hours, do u could compare distances etc....

Probably 4 or 5 days. I know it takes some people 3 days from Brisbane to Cairns driving nearly 24/7 so.. if you want to stop and enjoy beautiful QLD I would say 4 or 5 days.
