Does anyone know what the average temperatures are in New Zealand and Australia?

Does it snow in those countries as well?
Could you list the temperatures in Farenheit?

You do realise that Australia is the same size as the continental United States of America. And New Zealand is an entirely different country.

There are heaps of different weather zones all around the country. Do you own homework, google '(city) climate'. The cities to look for are Perth, Broome, Darwin, Alice Spring, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, etc..

Here is a chart of average temps in NZ - listed in Celsius and Farenheit
http://www.tourism.net.nz/new-zealand/about-new-zealand/weather-and-climate.html#temperatures

For Australia see http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/averages/
You can click on each state and it will show the average for each capital city

Yes it snows in both countrys.

Um i lived in NZ for 12 years and now live in Australia. When i lived in NZ i lived in the North island so it was much warmer than the south. I did have family in the south island so i visited quite a bit. In the south island it does snow and gets very cold in winter. I am not sure of the temperatures but NZ is quite a bit colder than Australia!
Australia is a very warm country although it depends on where you stay. Down south around the Melbourne area, it gets quite cold but i am not sure whether it snows. Both countries are great to visit! Sorry about not knowing the temperatures! Maybe try googling it? :-)

It snows alot in New Zealand in the Winter
In Australia it snows in some parts, not Queensland, Western Australia or Northen Territory.

The average winter temperature varies from state to state

In winter in Australia (Queensland) the average temp can be anything from 15 degrees celcius (59 F) to 24 degrees celcius (75.2 F)

In summer an average day is 32 degrees celcius (89.6 F)

That is all in queensland but it gets hotter in other states and colder in Tasmania especially.

I live in New Zealand, it snows about every 3 years where I live, but up in the mountains it snows like, at least twice a week (apart from in summer!)
I don't know what the temperature in Farenheit is, but it's normally about 25-30 degrees in summer and 5-15 in winter.
If you go to the website in the link, then you can convert the degrees celcius into Farenheit

Um, i was bought up with the metric system, but yeah i will try

First, new zealand and australia are two COMPLETELY different environments, accents and cultures. You cant compare the two

Australia is really depends where you are, In the Nothern terrirtory the average is maybe 32 for an typical year. There are 2 seasons which is a wet and dry, the wet season its usually humid and basically unpleasant. The dry is just hot, but yeah you can get around that. Also at night time during the dry season the temperature drops right down, to about 20-15 degrees.

Sydney and surrounding areas have an average im assuming of 26 degrees celcius. They have four seasons, winter in june july august. Thats when its SUPPOSED to rain. but wether lately is very unpredictable

South australia has more sun and nice beaches

Western australia is more like the northern territory, though they have a time in the year where they get a constant battering of one low pressure system after another , and this continues into south australia

Its does snow in The snowy mountains, in winter, and most snow would be found in victoria and iscolated areas around it

Tasmania as far as im imformed has a relativly cold but stable climate

Im now a Kiwi, so i cant tell you about new zealand

But about conversians, I know that 98.6 Farhenhite is 36 degrees celcius, so i hope i help there

On this page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_of_Australia) it lists the average maximum temperatures for each month, I added all these up and divided by how many they were creating the average Australian temperature (I think). I came up with 22.7 degrees which is 72.86 Celsius.

I could not find any data on New Zealand temperatures, but it's got to be quite similar to Australia, right?

In Australia, snow can fall in the mountains of Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Tasmania. There is a regular snow season in several areas which have seasonal ski tourism industries. Sometimes snow has even been reported in the mountains of South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland though this is very rare.
