Cheers mate. It's good to hear good things about OZ. I went to the US last year and loved it that much I was going to hide and not come home. I must say I met a lot of Americans and only two were rude, but the rest were tops, I loved em. I love the American accent.

I am from Australia and I find the New Zealand accent brilliant. So colourful. I hate fake Aussie accents on TV shows and in movies. eg Point Break near the end " you' ll have to wait for him to come back in"
Worst accent ever.

Yes I do but the Tasmanians are a bit stuck up, they are not like the rest of Australians, it has something to do with their isolation and British ancestry. Yes many Tasmanians are stuck up and place emphasis on social class, there is the I am better than you syndrome goin on there.
I like the accents of people from Queensland and New South Wales. Not keen on the NZ accent, it is a bit whiny although the maori accent sounds better than non maori.

Carl

Yeah? And they all talk like that?
Everything sounds like a ******** question?

Your mother's just been run over by stampeding kangaroos?
I'm Australian? I love England? It's so nice?
This ******** accent is driving me mad?
Like a ******** chain saw on drugs?
Cool?
