Visit your local Australian consulate and apply for one

The easiest and cheapest way to get a visa is to check the Department of Immigration web page at http://www.immi.gov.au
They have all the information you need plus all the application forms online. Why pay someone else to do it when you can do it yourself?

rose_merrick
do you mean a permenant or visiting visa? It is not easy to get a permenant visa -you have to have enough skills they need, to make up enough points. We have just done this!
For a visitors visa I should contact the embassy and see what they say

It used to be easy in the old days, slip on a bannana skin or step on a crack in the pavement and ye would be off on the nearest 6 month journey of yer life, nowdays its even easier, join the English cricket team.

Have about 4 million Australian Dollars in the bank and you will be allowed in no problem. Or if you are a qualified plumber, chef or medical doctor you are pretty certain of a visa.

Missy
apply for one and pay the 3 grand they ask for. mind u, u might not get it and u dont get ur money back either.

Someone asked this question yesterday. Some good answers. Put in a search on this site if you don't get any helpful responses.

There is no easy way! £2000 in your bank and you can only stay for 6 months.

We are going on an Australia/New Zealand cruise later this year and need visas for Australia. United Airlines, with whom we booked our airline tickets is also taking care of the Visas for us and for a much lower fee than if we were to get them on our own. So, you might want to check with your airline.
