Emigrating?

I am so stressed. I have to be in Australia by the beginning of Feb and I still have not sold my house. I am worrying about everything now. Is there anyone who can ease my mind?

Cant sell your house by January, why not rent it instead. Don't stress things. Sometimes when your emigrating it would be better to show that you have a regular income coming in for rent rather than a big sum to invent straight away. Go for it. Australia is a brilliant place to live.

give someone you trust power of attorney over your stuff...that's what i did...my brother took care of everything while i was emigrating to oz...he still takes care of my property and has access to my bank accs...

why not lease/rent it out thru a property manager if it has not sold by the time you have to leave? that way you get to keep the house and and capital gain it recieves, as well as having a place to go back to if/when you ever return.

What is your problem?
Leave power of attorney with someone and they can sign the papers when the house sells.
If you really want a quick sale, you will have to drop your price.
What does it matter if you arrive in Australia without having sold your house prior. You would invariably rent somewhere anyway while you checked out where you want to buy.
Why do you "have" to be in Australia at any particular point in time? If you have a work visa you can arrive pretty much when you feel like it. Are you taking up a job offer? If so you will have enough income to rent anyway.

Take me ith you! Me and the dog I mean...

Still got a littlw while till you go, you could always ask someone to represent you if you are gone and it's not sold.

Bandit
Don't stress and by all means do not get in a panic and sell your house cheap. Good luck ......

Den
