never been to australia, but ive seen amazin sites of it in travel videos and movies. i lived in florida almost my entire life and i love it. if u like the beach, tropical weather, hockey and golf u should like it as well. the bad thing about florida its the hurricanes and tornadoes, but other than that its a wonderful place to live.

Australia..

kieran,,=)
i feel the same way .. =( ... i live england the cold.. my friends .. the wind.. hardly any sun its rubbish

For a start it would depend firstly on which country woul allow you to emmigrate. But I would say Australia as having travelled to 8 different countries this one has it all. Some parts are hotter than others as some are more expensive to live than others. But Aussies are friendly and we love Canadians. We also have awesome beaches, great cities and an even greater life style. Not every person has a gun and natural disasters are limited to certain areas and are not all that frequent.

Ultimately it is your choice. Weigh up the pros and cons of each place including such things as medical, rental, cost of living, the unemployment rate and so forth.

Australia is a lot safer i guess. You will like it there a lot!!
Trust me, its the best. It is such a unique country and there are so many things to do!!

if you have the cash visit each place for a few weeks or longer look around then decide
but if you want to save time & money come staight to aussie & you will find a place in this great country that you like

Australia is a great country. It is kinda expensive in most places, but Florida isnt cheap either. I have a friend who lives in Miami and loves it, and I have friends in Australia who would never call any other place home. If you want a new experience go to Oz. Aussie's are great people and love to have a good time.

I have lived in FL 27 years (my whole life) and am moving to AU this summer. Real estate in FL sucks right now, none of my friends are making any money. The amount of $ all depends on the city. FL has cheap and very pricey cities.

** Australia

To immigrate to Australia you need to have a skill that is on the list from the immigration department, usually a degree plus experience, and you need to be under 40 (see www.immi.gov.au) so I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to go straight after high school. Good luck with all your plans though.

Florida, trust me - Australia is full of rednecks.

Everybody Lies ♥ House
AUstralia is REALLLY hot. i vacationed there and it was scorching. i would have to say florida and they have low income housing tahts is really cheap. other than that, verything is probobly the same price as in canada

They are both awful choices. Australia seriously sucks and Florida, well....at least it has sun and beaches.

All continents have beaches genius. You asked for an opinion, I gave it. Don't like it? Stay off an open forum.
