I think most people will agree, like previous posters, that Indonesians are well liked in Australia. Aussies love going to Bali, and I think that there would be very few who have a negative attitude towards Indonesian visitors or students.

I hope you come and visit us here, and enjoy your time in our beautiful country! Check out: www.australiaholidayworkingvisa.com for advice and info on studying and working in Australia!

All the Indonesians I had classes with at Uni were incredibly friendly, had great senses of humour, a real pleasure to meet. I have some Indonesian friends who live and work here as well - they fit into the Aussie lifestyle very nicely!

molly
I don't have a problem with them they are polite and having a go so good on them.

lol, they're cool and nice :)

It's Indians who annoy me because they don't like to speak English and can be rude

Meh, call me racists, I don't care.

hey aussie babe, hear ya loud and clear!! im cool with indonesians, and asians, but the indians get me all the time they are so loud and they are rude.

Dan
I have Indonesian friends myself. They're cool.

OzNana
Seem OK to me. Don't really think about it much. Most Indonesians I have met are studying here and appear to be friendly people.

most aussies have been to bali and enjoyed it
if our a muslim I wouldn't wear a haj cap or a head scarf as islamic terrorists are active in australia and while not fair it reflects on all muslims. Many Australians learnt very basic indonesian in primary school.
if you behave as you would like australians to behave in your country you will be fine

Prefer the Indonesians over the Indians any day.
