I thought that you had to be at least 21 to get in a nightclub. If you only have to be 18 then a passport should be enough to get her in the nightclub.
I am a cashier at Jewel. We have to card anyone who is buying liquor that looks under 30 years old. We accepted passports as a valid ID to verify their age. If we accepted Passports to verify someones age when they are buying liquor, I don't see why the nightclub wouldn't accept a passport to verify someones age. You may want to find the number to the nightclub online, then call and find out if they can get in with a passport.

Yep no problem at all.

If the passport states her age it should be ok I reckon
but I wouldn't really have a clue but then again that would be the only way visitors would ever get into a club wouldn't it???

Most bouncers (doorbitches) are from New Zealand so she shouldn't have any trouble.

i got friends from all over the globe using their passports to get in. NZ passport = no worries.
Fuzzy Wuzzy
Yes it is.
However, having said that, your sister should then take measures to keep her passport safe.
Passports are probably the most valuable document a person can have and are highly sought after on the black market. A night club doesn't seem to be the safest place for such a valuable document.
I suggest an under garment body bag. These are like bum bags, but flat and are worn under clothing. Then the passport is on your sister at all times.
Have fun and stay safe.

I know people use their passports if they dont have an 18+ card or license to prove their age. My friends have done it for one, plus lots of international students go clubbing and i doubt all have their drivers license.
?
yes,

Yes that is fine

If the passport has your photo and your year of birth, you should be right.
qldtravelguru
that is fine that has her date of birth so that is no problem at all.
it will also help her and you get into backpacker venues like the down under bar and tin billies if that is your scene.
hope this helps

passport is an international id, so it is definitely regarded for entry; provided ur sis is of legal age. different bars set different age limit, so ask before going. ve fun!

as long as there is a photo on it....that will be fine....either that or a drivers license....
