My husband and I have found that everyone we have ever met from Australia is friendly and most people of Australia have a wonderful sense of humor. I also like that the origins of your settlers settled in a difficult land and made something of it, just like our American Pioneer Spirit. America and Australia can both be proud of this fact.

For many of us Americans, we hear so many fascinating things about your country. The animals, the friendly people, the "can do" attitude", the climate. Your country is different from ours, but not too different.

Absolutely, we are seriously looking at coming to the Land of Oz. But we want to make sure it's the right decision for us and our family.

Keep posting the helpful information. We really appreciate knowing what your country is all about.

By the way, what type of work do you do?

These two places are without a doubt unbelievably close to my heart and truthfully I have very little to go on as to why---I think that a branch of my family came from Australia many many years ago--but the jury is still out on that one

However--of all of the places in the world I believe that visiting either or both of these would be an adventure of a lifetime for me and to all the Aussies in particular--you guys have far greater pull in this country (USA) than I think most of you know--a great number of people here count you folks as some of our strongest and best allies when the chips and truely down--you carry a mystical power with you of rugged grace that I myself am simply fascinated with---so Gday to all of you and peace be your companion
