A colection at an underground or train station can raise you a lot of cash and you don't need to get a permit from the local council, only the station managers permission.
Also a collection at halftime at your local football ground can raise you a lot too.
Other ideas include: a non-uniform day at your school/college, sponsored haircut/headshave or beardshave, coffee morning, sponsored run/walk or silence.
Alternatively set up a justgiving webpage ( www.justgiving.com ) and email the link to all your friends and family.
Good luck! |

Have a bake sale. Everyone likes goodies, and I am sure that your chapel will donate items to sell. Good luck. |

here are some ideas. I have done alot of fundraising events and these ideas have worked out great, there is very little overheads and it produces the maximum profit/totals
1. bag packing in supermarkets
2. car washing stand in a car park (granted you have permission from the shop/;store)
3. auctions (got to local shops and business and negotiate prizes/freebies in exchange for advertising at the event)
4. ebay (any items which you get you can sell on ebay and put on the listing that you are raising money for charity and any additional donations are welcome)
5. Lealet dropping (go around your local area and community and see if you can getfinancial support from them.
hope this helps xxx |

The best money makers for me have always been the obvious ones. Bake sales, lemonade stands, that sort of thing. Good Luck! Hope you love AU! |

One thing we used to do, which always raised a lot was "bag packing" at local supermarkets. (Standing at the checkouts helping ppl pack their shopping) You'd need a team of people, but if you did it for a weekend and were CAREFUL with people's stuff u'd probs make £750 easily...
Good luck! |

I raised lots of money by holding a raffle at a local sporting event and getting companies to give me stuff to auction off. The top prize was a signed football shirt by a top London team. People don't mind donating if they're in with a chance of winning. |

Take a bucket around your place of work - organise some activities like raffles with really crap prizes, just cheap stuff.
Offer to car share with your work mates and get them to give the petrol money to you and add that to your fund.
But if all else fails - sell your body! |

Get an account at justgiving.com and get people to sponsor you online
Do a raffle/small lottery at work or school
A cake sale
Make and sell greetings cards
Fancy dress day/dress down day at work
Shave your head and get people to sponsor you
Organise a battle of the bands, or a fashion show, church choir singing show...
Sell your unwanted stuff at a car boot sale/ebay and put the profits towards this
Cut something out of your life (beer, cigarettes, sweets, junk food), get people to sponsor you for this and also put aside the money you have saved for your fund.
Good luck. I'm fundraising for a breast cancer charity at the moment. If you'd like to help me, perhaps you could make a donation here?
