Getting weapons from U.S to Australia in luggage, rules ?

I want to know if I can buy things like sharp ninja stars and small swords from markets and put them in my luggage ( not carry on obviously ) to fly to Australia, I really don't want to pay for them, just for them to be confiscated, thanks.

I think you'll find all of those things to be controlled imports that can't be carried into Australia by any means unless you have permits for them.

All those things are illegal over here. Customs will just confiscate them. Save your money.

Unlike America, weapons are generally illegal in Australia.

They will almost certainly be confiscated, unless you have a genuine reason to own them.

Check with Australian Customs.

No bladed martial arts weapons, no switchblade or butterfly knives.

you wont get them past customs

my daughter got pulled up for a battery operated bug zapper in the shape of a racket lol australian customs said it could be used as a weapon and confiscated it
don't waste your money

it was in her checked luggage and they still found it

you cant carry weapons into australia unless you have a special permit (visa).

I dont know if you can just have them for recreation, I think that you may have to be like a acting in a play or some stupid thing like that....we are very strick on weapon use in Australia not like in america where most people own a gun.

(:elcie;
rule #1 ; don't bother.

I bought a knife in England (although it wasnt sharp) but instead of taking them on the plane, I simply mailed them home before I left the country. Otherwise you should call the airline you will be flying with and ask them about their luggage rules.
