I have been living in Coral Bay for all of my life. (14 Years)

sydneys cool n all, but you said your looking for something laid back on the coast with friendly peple and great lifestyle, brisi and the goldy are like that

Normally I would say say Brisbane, as I think it is a great place.
But for a 20 year old, Sydney would be worth looking at, but don't forget to take up trip up to the Gold Coast ;)
But it depends. Are you going to be concentrating on working or just taking it easy ?
Work would probably be easier to find in Sydney, but taking it easy would be best on the Gold Coast.
