Yup - stayed in Perth for 4 years, visited Sydney a couple of times, have been to Adelaide, Kalgoorlie, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia, Margaret River amongst others.

Once you adjust to the desert like conditions away from the main urban centers it's not a bad place. Mostly nice people, nice beer, nice beaches, great pace of life. Somethings can be a little expensive.

PS. Anyone visiting Australia should also visit New Zealand - I'll guarantee you'll like it!

Nobody has "been" to OZ because its such a wonderful place that they stay!
Of course you do have to watch out for the drop bears and the bunyips in Australia but a generous covering of vegemite keeps those away
