Compared to Japanese people, Australian peole first appeared lazy, but now, I think the Australian attitude is very easy going and peaceful which keeps stress away and makes Australian people very genuine and honest.
In the places I visit the weather is great too.

I'm an Australian currently living in the US, and to answer your question, yes I love the place (I'm from Sydney)! It's always feel like home to me. Enjoy your stay while you're there cos there's no other place like it.

We loved it and will be going back. Also was enamored with New Zealand's south island where we spent a week. We mainly spent the six weeks in the Melbourne area although my wife once traveled all over (Perth, Sydney, Urulu, and the Great Barrier Reef) on a six week trip on her own.
Perhaps if you phrased your question: "If you have been to Australia, did you like it?" then you wouldn't get answers like the first one.
