Yes, as a matter of fact, I can see 5 of them right now lolling around under the trees just outside my backyard. And yes, they really do 'bounce and everything'. Big ones can jump as far as 10 metres (30+ feet) in a single 'bounce' when they're going at top speed and can jump as high as 3 metres (about 10 feet). When the ones at our place get going, nothing much slows them down.

Of course. And yes, they bounce. Well... 'bound' is more the word I'd use. Or 'hop'.

Many many times, I have fed them and everything. The only thing I have not done is eat one I cannot bring myself to eat our national coat of arms.
And yes they do "really bounce and everything" they carry their babies which are called joey's in their pouches while the 'bounce' along.

i was in australia a few yrs ago. we visited an aboriginal learning center. outside of the centre we were introduced to a baby kangaroo. everyone though the little kangaroo was so cute....part of the tour included lunch..... KANGAROO for gods sake. i didn't have lunch that day. though all those people who thought the little kangaroo was so cute gobbled it up.

yes I have......they do not bounce on you unless you disturb them

Future Eagles Mummy!!
As a kid my mum used to rescue and raise orphaned kangaroos! They really are beautiful unique animals (and to the user above somewhere - i don't know how people can eat them either!!!)

And yes, they do bound around quite a lot!! It would be quite hard to walk with those rather long "feet" and massive tail! Although they do get around slowly by putting their front arms on the ground then bringing their back legs up to meet them.
