I really wouldn't like to speculate on how. it doesn't matter or change anything.
its just so sad that he's gone, I'm a similar age and have a Little girl that is 2 and It breaks my heart to know that there is another little girl out there that won't get to know their Daddy. share ice cream or give big hugs..
he seemed like a down to earth devoted dad.
life's so dam tough, bad people seem to live for ever.

Ridin The Storm Out

I just watched Nancy Grace, and it is WAY too early to come to any conclusions as to WHY he died. He had been trying to get sleep, and had tried Ambien- He also had pneumonia. It is way to early to jump to the gun on this shocking and tragic news. He was a very EXCEPTIONAL actor, and was in the middle of making a movie. He had a Massage Therapist appointment, and his Housekeeper found him dead. There was some prescription medications, along with some over the counter meds, also. The Family is VERY upset that the news media is saying he died of a drug overdose.
I loved him best in the movie with Mel Gibson, "The Patriot". What a loss, what a tragic loss. It will take some time before they know the REAL cause of this.
"Larry King" live is currently on at this time, covering the story. It is on CNN. You may want to watch this, if it is available where you live.

It must have been an accident - late night, perhaps a bit drunk, hectic schedule, family worries, away from Australia, and he may have just needed a good nights sleep and miscalculated.

I would have not thought him the type to do any hard type of drugs (maybe pot but ...)

Never thought Heath was stupid enough to mess with drugs.
Thought the man was smarter than to hang out with the Hollywood druggy crowd.

First Brad now him. What an idiot he is for OD'ing on drugs, you would think he'd be concerned about his little girl, how selfish. Must be the latest Hollywood trend. Those actors and actresses are so stupid, get yer **** together!!! Second thought, why weren't there any prior reports of his addiction to drugs? Is that really what he died of?

It seems that it was some kind of drug abuse.
