You will pick up English very easy here, Australia is very multicultural.

Research the following sites to see if you qualify to live and work in Australia

Immigration for Australia - http://www.immi.gov.au

Visa Wizard - http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/

For Aussie skilled jobs off the Immigration website http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/index.htm
Or view occupations in demand here http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/skilled-occupations/occupations-in-demand.htm

Working In Australia, For jobs, helpful tips and information on working in Australia - http://www.workingin-australia.com

How to Live Here - Step-by-step guides to procedures and paperwork
http://www.justlanded.com/english/australia is a great guide that explains things in simple terms, applying for visas, working or as an international student etc…

Good Luck

Exchange students manage. So can you. Get Rosetta Stone language learning program. It will help you learn the patois. Don't let language be a barrier to following a dream.
Bon Voyage!!!

More than a quarter of the people living in Sydney have migrated from elsewhere, so there are a great many people who speak little or no English. You'll pick it up after a while, and Aussies are used to communicating with people who don't speak much English. Don't let language barriers stop you!

As far as the language is concerned, I'm sure you will do fine and Australians love the French accent [well, most of them do]. Just make sure you have some skills in the employment department. Jobs are not easy to come by.

if your english is bad you can always get a job driving a cab
