North Sydney Harborview doesn't have balconies but it does have great harbour views:

just make sure you book a harbourview room of course and you can get it under $200. Also you are on top of North Sydney station which is handy for getting around.
A balcony isn't such a great thing to have in the inner Sydney area -- too much traffic noise to really enjoy one. |

HA! Good luck, for that kind of money you will need to get out of the city , perhaps Parramatta or Down Near the old Olympic Stadium but I really don't like your chances, Rooms with a balcony and a view are in great demand and are priced accordingly |

go to www.wotif.com.au you can get awesome rooms for really cheap at really nice hotels. and you have options to choose weather you want a balcony, what star rating and lots of others things.
I always use it when I have plans to stay in the city. |
