You will love Australia, and Melbourne is a great place to live. There is heaps of multiculturalism so you won't feel out of place at all and people are generally tolerant if your english isn't the best.

All the best and enjoy your stay

Hi Brazil! Australia's a great place to live and Melbourne's one of the best places in it.
We have a lot of exchange students here and it's a great scheme. You'll be very welcome here, you'll have a marvellous time and your English will improve in no time at all.

Oh, and 'due' doesn't mean haircut. Also, thongs are flip flops, not sandals. Sandals are sandals here like anywhere else.

Most foreign exchange students that we have hosted have loved Australia, and want to come back.

You should enjoy it just as much.

I think you will like it.
I have met a few other exchange students, and they really enjoyed it here.

Your English is not bad, but a bit of practise wouldn't hurt to sharpen it up a bit. :)

Are you staying with anyone there?

• Nevermore
Hi Australia! I'm California :)

Yes - it is a good country to live, I want to live there one day. (Get out of America) And it is okay that your English it bad, you're taking a class so you will be okay. And also just grab some books that will help you out with the Lingo that Australians use.
For example a Due means Haircut, and Thongs are Sandals.
