save as much money as you can because there is so much to do and see over there you dont want to have to say no to anything or work crazy hours if you dont have to. also play it by beer....just go with the flow and see what happens dont go with a fixed itinery just ideas because there are so many oppurtunities over there you dont know whats round the corner.
make your social circle as wide as possible because people are always moving on and its nice to have a sense of belonging to a group that way the home sickness doesnt happen. workin in bars/restaurants is a good way to meet other travellers if you wanna work. stayin in hostels is a winner too you cant fail to meet other like minded people.
have a fab time, i did and im goin back in may although not for a year unfortunately. |

There is so much to see and do here. You are going to meet heaps of friendly Australians and other back packers as well who you will keep in contact for the rest of your life.
