Kangaroo Island is nice but there are some other amazing Islands as well! I would try looking at Fraser Island!
I think you have covered the better months - our summer/warmer months anywhere from Dec to Feb/March will be warm which is ok I guess if you are from Italy! I wouldnt say the same thing to someone from the UK - that is when it is warm and hot here and you can enjoy the beaches.
But that is when most families holiday as its also school holiday time. So I would go before December or After January - Dec and Jan is school holiday months.
If you want cooler times try Sep to Nov or March to May. I would personaly travel Sep or March/April - cooler!
If you are here for 30 days travel to other places than just Kangaroo Island - maybe Perth, Great Ocean Road, Gold Coast or Cairns. So many other wonderful places to visit and see! |

December to Jan are our storm months around Australia. I personally prefer around Aug - September. It is warm enough to swim and the air temp is great for walking and sightseeing etc. Its a great country with so much to explore - HAPPY TRAVELS!! |

summer is fire season, we have major bushfires in our hotter months. they are dangerous, and unfortunately, often deliberately lit. be aware, this land is unforgiving of those whom are unprepared, and things can change very quickly. whilst you are here, keep listening to radio stations to here the latest news about any fires, and obey instructions from fire crews/police. Don't push your luck and stay with your car, it's easier to find than you are. carry a couple of days water for everyone in your car if you go out of town, a few hours water otherwise. every state is bigger than your whole country, some take days to cross, even driving at 110kph. |

depends where you're going. Im you coming to melbourne then it doesn't matter because the weather changes all the time. Theres this saying, "four seasons in one day". one day it can be freezing cold (15 degrees celcius) and the next boiling hot (35 degrees celcius) |

If you are going southern "kangaroo's land" Aus, then probably november better, both hot, but january always seems get extra hot ,40'c lately. I live further north in Queensland and it's 10 degrees cooler here at the moment. Cant help much with accomodation sorry, but there are thousands of web sites, I'm sure you will find. Enjoy your trip.
Cant gaurantee weather, it changes all the time. |

You should definately go to Townsville or Cairns. In beautiful sunny North Queensland. We have everything you'd want to see in Aussie-land. Rainforests, beaches, bushland, also city life, with awsome night life ( clubs etc).
The only down side, is the heat. It gets very hot around chrissy time. But all accomodation has air conditioning here,
so it's all good!~ |

The weather is probably a bit milder in November as January is the middle of summer. It does depend a bit on where in Australia you are going to visit (it is a big country, I think you will find). School summer holidays are on in January, so it will be busier probably, but then again, there might be more activities on in January. The tropical (northern) parts have a wetter summer, but that should not stop you from having a good trip, whether or not you are planning to go there on the trip. What sort of things are you interested in? There really are a lot of things you can see and do. Good luck. |
